Prototype Information
Constructed from 1897 onwards the M cattle wagon was used for
carrying livestock (cattle and sometimes sheep). They operated
up untill the 1970s or 1980s on practically every line in Victoria.
Model Information
These models represent the VR M and MB cattle wagons, with
automatic couplers, as seen around the 1970s. They have the
original style of side and end bracing and early handbrake
levers, and represent numbers
between 1 and 779 for the M vans.
The MB wagons represent the only two made, MB 1 & 2.
